T15-09 Harrison Park Electrical Upgrade - Phase 2 (10 files posted for download) For the supply of electrical contractor to provide the upgrade of electrical services at Harrison Park located at 75 2nd Avenue East in Owen Sound. The park contains several features that are unique to the area including an outdoor ice rink, a Restaurant, serviced campground, swimming pool, the City parks maintenance headquarters, a seniors complex and a bird sanctuary. Hydro One has indicated that the existing 3 phase electrical service supplying the park and individual multi customer metering system must be replaced with a single meter, one customer system. To achieve this, the City has installed a main service disconnect and new meter service on a common pole near the entrance to the park and 2nd Avenue East and 1st Street East. In addition to this work the City will have to replace 3 meters in the park with electrical monitors. Any other meters will be removed and the service will require a "jumper" where the old meters were installed.
