T14-15 8th Street East Reconstruction 5th Avenue East to 7th Avenue East Scope of Work Summary The Contract is for the reconstruction of approximately 490 m 0f 8th Street East between 5th Avenue East, including Ryerson Park, as outlined on the Contract Drawings. The scope of Work will generally include: -Removal of Existing infrastructure, including sewers, watermain, retaining walls, asphalt, sidewalk cure & gutter, asphalt, road base, etc. -Demolition of House No. 803 5th Avenue "A" East; -Installation of 500 m of sanitary sewer and 560 m of watermain, including all associated services and the installation of 600 m of storm sewer; -Road reconstruction, inlcuding widening of the road platform to acccommodate bide lanes; -Installation of 1,400 sq.m of concrete sidewalk and 1,085 m of curb & gutter; -Installation of new traffic signals at the 7th Avenue East intersection; -Full restoration to previous or better condition, including the installation of slope retention systems and retaining walls; and -Redevelopment of Ryerson Park |
