Snow Removal, Various Lots (City of Owen Sound) The City of Owen Sound requires Contractors for the purpose of snow clearing and application of traction control materials at various locations. The level of service being requested will vary from lot to lot and is outlined in the Scope of Work and mapping for each location. The City will reserve the right to make changes to the level of service and requirements throughout the term of the contract. It is the responsibility of the bidder to familiarize themselves with the location(s) in which they bid on. A non-mandatory site meeting will be held on September 12, 2017 at the Bayshore Community Centre. The service provided in all locations must include proper equipment, materials, and labour required for a complete and proper job to the total satisfaction of the City.

At its meeting held on October 30, 2017, City Council adopted the following resolution:
RESOLUTIONS ADOPTED
R-171030-004
"THAT in consideration of Staff Report CR-17-097 respecting T-17Z.2 Snow Removal Various Lots, City Council award the above noted to the following lowest compliant bids received, per lot:
1. Bluewater Landscaping and Construction
• Bayshore Community Centre – including walkways and exits at a cost of $1480 per event;
• Julie McArthur Regional Recreation Centre –including walkways and exits at a cost of $1000 per event;
2. Edgewood Group Inc.
• Owen Sound Police Station and Parking Lot at a cost of $118 per event;
• Owen Sound Animal Shelter at a cost of $28 per event;
• Municipal Parking Lot 4 – 974 3rd Ave E at a cost of $98 per event;
• Municipal Parking Lot 5 at a cost of $210 per event;
• Municipal Parking Lot 9 at a cost of $40 per event;
• Owen Sound Wastewater Plant at a cost of $112 per event; and
3. Freeman the Treeman
• Genoe Landfill at a cost of $250 per event;
• Scopis Parking Lot – Lane Only at a cost of $40 per event."
